What Is Banner Center?

Workforce Florida, Inc., engaging through its Employ Florida delivery system, has established statewide centers of excellence to address curriculum, employer, and education-targeted industry requirements in sectors that are most critical to Florida’s economic future.

The Banner Center will develop secondary academies spanning Florida’s current and future education sectors. The Implementation Plan, Deliverable One, will detail the Banner Center operational milestones over the next 24 months.

The Implementation Plan, a primary contract deliverable for Workforce Florida, Inc., has been designed to identify, focus, and align the Banner Center deliverables.  It provides critical milestones and team access to departmental, developmental, and technological processes.  The Implementation Plan links all contract deliverables, the formation of the Banner Center Team, and the merging of the Banner Center for Secondary Academies with Florida legislation.
